justin McDaniel, DMD, MS

Dr. McDaniel is a native Floridian, born in Jacksonville and raised in Orlando. He knew at a very young age that he wanted to become an Orthodontist. He attended Florida State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Chemical Science.
After graduating from FSU, Dr. McDaniel earned his Master’s Degree in Biomedical Science at Barry University. His studies included gross anatomy, physiology and histology. He credits this intense master’s program for helping to propel him toward the top of his dental class.

Dr. McDaniel earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University. Following dental school, he moved back to Orlando where he practiced as a General Dentist for two years.

Dr. McDaniel then turned his focus toward achieving his lifelong goal of becoming an Orthodontist. He moved to Jacksonville, where he completed a Fellowship in Orthodontics and Orthodontic Research at Jacksonville University. In October 2019, he completed his Residency at Jacksonville University and earned his Certificate In Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and a Master’s of Science in Dentistry degree.
Dr. McDaniel values time with family and friends. When not at work, Dr. McDaniel enjoys spending time with his wife Lauren, son Mason, and their goldendoodle, Samson. Dr. McDaniel can often be found outdoors, fishing, camping and going to the beach. He is a member of the church of Eleven 22, an avid golfer, FSU football fan and crossfitter.
